2017 Academy Assessment levels are available

NAF is thrilled to announce the Academy Assessment levels for 2017! New this year, all key information is available in the Academy Support Hub. Additionally, modifications to next year's Academy Assessment content and process are now available on ASH. As illustrated in these modifications, meeting NAFTrack course and internship requirements and seniors reaching NAFTrack Certification continue to be markers for quality. The below instructions can also be found under the 'Announcements' section on ASH.

  • To find out your academy’s level, please log on to ASH and click here. Certificates can also be downloaded on this page.

  • Publicize your level with NAF's template press releases that can be found in the Marketing Library under 'Public Relations' and then by clicking on the 'Distinguished and Model Academies' folder. Sample social media posts and images can also be found under 'Online and Social Media' and then by clicking on the 'Model and Distinguished Academies' folder.

Please also be sure to share the news with your advisory board members. Model and Distinguished banners will be distributed at NAF Next this summer. Be sure to register! Under Review academies, please follow-up with your NAF contact for more information.

NAF’s continuous improvement cycle is centered on NAF’s annual academy assessment, which measures an academy’s strengths and challenges in implementing NAF’s results-driven design. The data shows that the more closely academies follow the NAF educational design, the better they perform, and the better the outcomes for NAF academy students. Thank you for your continued commitment to NAF and preparing the next generation of future leaders.

DONATE HERE TO HELP STUDENTS BE FUTURE READY

Our 5 Year Strategic Plan

Welcome to 2017 and Happy New Year to you all!

As part of a new 5-year strategic plan, we have developed some new approaches to achieve our mission of ensuring future readiness for everyone.

  • We will amplify the power of the network, increasing the probability that millions of low-income youth will be able to change the course of their lives, eliminate the income gap, and strengthen our global economy while contributing to the well-being of their communities.

We plan to:

  • Dramatically increase the availability of internship experiences

  • Connect with communities in key areas

  • Focus on all-in corporate engagement

  • Help employers more efficiently provide high quality internship experiences (and other WBL)

  • Use technology to address barriers to corporate engagement

For NAF, this plan means to providing work-based learning opportunities; developing innovative solutions to increase internships, and impacting more students even beyond NAF’s academy walls.

  • Targeted supports based on your needs:

  • Your support contacts may change: you will be hearing directly from those staff members. Through our research, we are confident that we will be able to continue to provide the support academies need to thrive and take this work to the next level.
